A quick self-check
Three questions before you book.
An hour suits a contained problem. If you can say yes to all three, book the session and we'll spend the whole hour working on it. If any answer is no, have the free chat first. It costs nothing and it stops you buying the wrong thing.
Is it one specific thing?
A sleep pattern that's slipped, breathing gone shallow since an illness, one situation coming up you want to be steady for. Not "everything, all the time".
Is it recent?
Weeks or a few months, not years. A stress response that's been switched on for a long time doesn't move in an hour, and I'd rather tell you that now.
Have you done this work before?
You have a practice and it's drifted, or you've finished a program and want a tune-up. If you're starting from scratch with something chronic, the program is the honest answer.
If you book the hour and it turns out you need the program, the $200 is credited against the Stress Breath Program if you start within a month. You don't lose anything by starting small.
What happens in the hour
Not a consultation. A working session.
The hour is spent doing the work rather than scoping it. Expect to leave with something you can use that day, not a summary of what's wrong.
Where the system is sitting
What's driving the stress right now and where your nervous system actually is, taken quickly, because the point of the hour is what comes after.
Hands on the actual problem
Breath and regulation tools worked through directly and adjusted to how you respond, rather than described and sent home with you.
Something that works today
A practice you can do, that suits your situation, and that you've already done once under my eye.
What ongoing work would look like
If a single session is what you came for, that's what you get. Nobody follows up trying to convert it into something larger.
Who books these
Three situations where an hour is the right size.
- One specific issue. Something identifiable and contained: a sleep pattern that's slipped, breathing gone shallow since an illness, a situation coming up you want to be regulated for.
- A tune-up. You've done the work before and something has drifted. An hour to look at what changed, correct the practice, and get it back.
- Between programs. Existing clients who've finished a program and want an occasional session to hold the ground they gained.
When it's the wrong size
Be honest with yourself about whether it's chronic.
A private session is therapeutic work on something specific. It isn't a trial run at a program and it isn't priced as one. It's a smaller thing, not a cheaper version of a bigger thing.
If the issue is chronic, a single session will help you feel better for a week. The program changes the pattern. Where the stress response has been switched on for months or years, a nervous system unlearns that through repetition and measurement, over sessions. That's the Stress Breath Program, from $950 with the change measured at both ends.
If you don't know which describes you, that's what the free chat is for.
Honest answers
The questions people ask about single sessions.
Do I need the free chat first?
No. The session is open to anyone and you can book it straight from this page. The free chat exists for people who don't yet know which of the four options fits.
How do I pay?
$200 for the hour, handled at booking through Calendly.
In person or online?
Either. In person at Currumbin Valley; online anywhere in Australia by video, which works just as well for this kind of session.
Can I book a few of these instead of a program?
You can, and some people do. It costs more that way and it isn't measured. The program includes the baseline, the re-assessment and the guarantee that rests on them.
Does the guarantee cover this?
No. It applies to the two programs measured from a baseline through to a re-assessment. A single session isn't measured that way.
What if I book the hour and need more?
The $200 is credited against the Stress Breath Program if you start within a month of the session. Nobody will push you there; if the hour was what you needed, that's the end of it.
Not sure where to start?
Don't guess. Have a free 25-minute chat first.
I value your time and my own. If you're unsure which option fits, or whether now is the right moment, it's worth finding out before either of us commits. There is nothing to buy on the call. You leave with your numbers and a recommended path, and sometimes the recommendation is none of the four.
